RESPack-2024 in Mumbai

Foundation for Innovative Packaging and Sustainability ( FIPS) was envisioned by Prof Dr N.C.Saha, Former Director, Indian Institute of Packaging, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India to establish this non- Profit, Non -Government Organisation with well experienced Packaging Professionals as “ Knowledge Platform” to promote Sustainable Packaging and Circular Economy through educational and Research activities.

As a part of activities, FIPS launched an International Conference on RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING under the title of RESPACK in 2022 to promote the concept of Responsible packaging where all the stakeholders like Plastic raw material manufacturers, Converters, Machinery manufacturers, Brand owners and Consumers who are equally responsible for environmental pollution due to littering of post-consumers packaging wastes and to make them understand their responsibilities to take preventive actions towards green environment through Circular economy. After having an outstanding success of two editions of International Conference on Responsible

Packaging i.e RESPACK-2022 and RESPACK-2023, it is planned to organize the 3rd edition of RESPACK2024 at Hotel The Lalit, Mumbai during 13th &14th June,2024 (Thursday & Friday). It is expected that about 400 delegates consisting of raw material manufacturers, converters, machinery manufacturers, Brand owners will be participating in this conference

The two days conference will cover various topics related to Responsible Packaging which will be covered under the following sessions: All the sessions will be Chaired by eminent experts in Packaging. In addition.there will be 35 Speakers from India as well as overseas countries like USA, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Thailand and Japan. In addition, 18 eminent experts from leading FMCG companies will be present as PANELISTS during Panel Discussions to share their views on Responsible Packaging in three important areas like Optimal Design, Innovative packaging Materials, Sustainable Technologies.
