In a scathing attack, Zee group founder Subhash Chandra has accused SEBI chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch of corruption.
Chandra, who defaulted on bank loans a few years ago, has paid part of the bank debt by selling his majority stake in Zee Entertainment Enterprises.
Chandra also planned a lifeline deal to merge operations with Sony India, but the merger was nixed with SEBI accusing Chandra of funds diversion from the company.
